Wellness Wednesday – Honoring Life’s Natural Closing Chapter: Understanding Hospice Care
November is designated as National Hospice and Palliative Care Month to raise awareness about the importance of quality end-of-life care and to support the professionals who provide it. Please consider joining us on Wednesday, November 12th from 12:15 to 1:00 pm for a compassionate exploration of natural death and the vital role of hospice care.
RRH expert Mary Onderdonk, DNP, AGNP-C, a hospice and palliative medicine nurse practitioner with Rochester Regional Health, will guide a heartfelt discussion about what it means to honor life as it nears its natural conclusion. She will explain how hospice provides comfort, peace, and comprehensive support not only for individuals nearing the end of life, but also for the families who love, care for and cherish them. Learn how hospice empowers people to live fully, with dignity and compassionate care, through every step of the journey.
Zoom is available for those who cannot attend in person.
